Abstract :
Nowadays industrial design has become the motivation force of the development of the society, it transforms our ways of life, improves the quality of our lives and promotes market competition. In the tendency of globalization, it plays an important role in the enterprise innovation. The enterprise demands talents in the field of industrial design. Under this condition, it requires the colleges and universities training new industrial design talented persons who have real understandings of the relationships between the humanity, the product and the market and who have solid theoretical knowledge of science and technology, the capacity for scientific thinking as well as the ability of proficiency in a practical skill. At the same time, they must have comprehensive accomplishment in the area of the humanities, arts, society and so on. They are sensitive to the form and the structure of products In this article, through the investigation on the university characteristics, the teaching methods, and the educational model and so on, the expansion of industrial design teaching ideas is explored; exploration and some research on the ways of how to train professional talents in the industrial design major teaching are provided.
