  • Abstract
    To design a reliable high-performance fight control system, an accurate model of the helicopter is required. While the movement of the helicopter is very complicated, it is very difficult to identify the complete model of helicopter by the traditional methods. In this paper, an identifying method based on niche genetic algorithm (NGA) is proposed. In this method, the problem of identification is transformed into an optimization that can be solved by genetic algorithm. To avoid the premature of GA, a niche genetic algorithm based on sharing scheme is adopted. In order to test the identifying method based on NGA, an identification of a kind of unmanned helicopterpsilas model is done. The result shows that the accurate completer model can be obtained by the identifying method proposed in this paper.
