Abstract
Lambda-on-demand, optical virtual concatenation, and a novel user-network interface-based restoration are proposed to manage parallel lambdas toward achieving assured quality-of-service terabit networks. A successful demonstration of these technologies is described when employing bandwidth-intensive visualizing applications.
