Abstract :
The problem of determining the relevance and source of development test failures is solved using an expert-systems approach. The appropriateness of this approach is discussed and the application of the technique is described. This includes a description of the process of knowledge extraction, a discussion of the representation form chosen, and the description of the actual system and its implementation
