Abstract :
This paper describe a project using Mary Shelley´s second edition book “Frankenstein” as a starting point to research how robots evolved throughout the history. Students were able to feel and touch this book through the Remnant Trust exhibit in Indian University - Purdue University at Fort Wayne (IPFW). During this ten-week project, each student was required to finish a research paper in a topic chosen from a given list and present their findings to the whole class. The survey results showed that students were fascinated by how far the history of robotics went back.
