Abstract
A framework for the automated visual inspection of collagen plates was implemented and used in an industrial application for the evaluation of fault perceptual relevance. The here presented paper analyzes the methodologies used in this framework in order to predict the end user´s opinion, especially the usage of genetic algorithm to adapt the fuzzy weights for making the final classifications.
