Abstract :
The mark of a technological advance is to change people´s focus from microscopic to more macroscopic concerns. Analog Devices´ new ADSP series allows designers to experience such a dramatic shift in engineering focus. Functions integrated onto one chip eliminate small-level concerns about SSI enhancements. The designer can concentrate on critical global issues in system design -- speed, precision, and the fundamentals of architectural structure. These devices, dedicated to facilitating high speed Digital Signal Processing tasks, are utilized in this paper illustrating the advantages of their high level of integration.
