Abstract :
Quality management is relying on quality information management more and more. Many traditional quality control methods have been upgraded by information technology. SPC (Statistical Process Control) is such a method. It is a very good quantitative analysis tool of quality management and quality information management system based on SPC has made a great contribution to many enterprises. However, with the mass production mode shifting to flexible production mode, the adoption of SPC technology is getting into trouble for SPC need enough large size of sample and the flexible production is small batch production. So, this paper proposed developing a new kind of quality information system based on improved SPC technology. The system adopts digital sensors, .NET technology, multi-tier architecture and small batch oriented control chart technology to realize quality management for flexible production process. It has functions including automatic data collecting, dynamic monitoring, real time warning, process capability analyzing and etc. The system is also scalable, extensible and flexible. The test on the system has shown that it can identify the abnormal production process in time even when the sample size is small.
