Abstract
The new technology in the design of a clutch product is presented in the paper. Its principle is to realize the separation and reunion of movement between the driving part and the driven part by controlling the rotary fit and separation of the screw thread pair. The relative axial movement in the rotary fit of the screw thread pair is used to control the auxiliary friction driving, establish the pre-starting of the driven part, reduce the rotating speed difference and realize buffering. When the screw thread pair is turned to the terminal position, the synchro-operation is realized, thus overcoming their own defects of the friction and jaw clutches. The experimental research of the clutch is made and the mechanic characteristic curve is given.
