Abstract :
This paper investigates modeling and simulation of dual-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor. The emulated model of a novel DRPMSM is constructed based on MATLAB/Simulink. To test the correctness of the emulated motor model, Vector Control (VC) system and Space Vector PWM Control (SVPWM) system are used to simulate the model of the motor. The simulation results show the correctness of the model. This paper compares the different responses of torque, rotating speed and current in VC and SVPWM strategies. The results show that using different control strategies can get different system´s dynamic and static responses. As the same time, it analyzes the characteristics of dual-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor in steady operation and transient run-time.
