    The connotation and characteristics of core curriculum were analyzed, and specialty course setup and construction of building environment and facilities engineering were investigated. The ideas and methods of strengthen the construction of core curriculum and promote the speciality teaching reform were presented. Practive have proved that the model has taken a significant role in promoting the explorative and innovative ability of students. As a consequence, the graduates under such education will be trained into qualified talents and develop morally, intellectually and physically.
