  • Abstract
    In the mould industry, many parts are standard, it is necessary to build the corresponding standard part library which meets the enterprise´s demands. How to develop 3D standard part library by using second development tools is presented. UG/Open API is studied. At last, UG NX and Excel parameter form are selected to building 3D standard part library. The UG Part Family system and its development way are researched, the whole development course is described. According to the structure characteristics and the function specification of the spure bushing, a model library is built by using parametric modeling method. It proves that standard part library can help to promote the drafting efficiency and quality.
