Abstract
The detection of small moving targets, especially low contrast targets in clutter environment, is an important problem in image sequence processing. A lot of works have already been proposed for this problem, but it is difficult and complex to implement these algorithms in real time with high hardware performance. This paper shows a simple real time automatic target recognition system to detect small moving targets from relatively stationary background. This system is designed based on a temporal recursive low-pass filter algorithm that can enhance targets and suppress background, and details of implementation are presented
