Abstract
This paper analyzes the application methods and techniques of elements of regional culture acting as product semantic elements in the product design process, and uses design knowledge to build models as well as the concept of application to investigate and record regional cultures. Then combined with product semantics, this paper abstracts the analysis on available semantic elements in the regional cultures. Directed towards the abstracted cultural elements, this paper classifies its properties and establishes cultural semantic elements base. In the regional product design process, this paper derives the cultural semantic elements in corresponding areas, and redesigns the products based on the original reusable three-dimensional model.
