Abstract
At the 2006 CEIDP, the authors described the principles of how molecular dielectrics are involved in the unique properties of polymer nanodielectrics. In this contribution, the focus is on the part played by molecular dielectrics in the construction and properties of the nano-particle-matrix interface. It can be noted that in some cases, the interface role and its specificity may dominate the situation over the gain realized from that of the nanoparticle surface.
