Abstract
The concept of circuit maintenance is introduced, and its characteristics and modeling requirements, especially those of complicated circuit virtual maintenance system, are analyzed. The conventional HLA-based structure of distributed virtual maintenance system is introduced, and architecture of complicated circuit virtual maintenance system is put forward based on it. The basic concepts of base object model (BOM) are presented, and the definition of BOM based modeling is analyzed in formal way. The elements in circuit BOM identified as entity type, event type, and pattern of interplay are studied based on the characteristics of circuit simulation. The entity types are distinguished as electrics component type and signal type, and are consequently described by its attributes and circuit simulation language separately, which satisfies simulation requirement and simplifies the modeling complexity. By building a complicated circuit virtual maintenance system of certain equipment, the validity and practicability of the research are proved.
