  • Abstract
    A novel kind of mechanical and electrical actuator is studied and manufactured, which is used to suppress the vibration of ship deck. A digital computer control system is introduced and an optimum fuzzy control algorithm of adjusting phase difference is proposed. The adjusting time can be reduced to be short, and the adjusting accuracy can be increased, this optimum phase difference adjusting method meets the requirement of responding rapidly. The experimental system is established to study the performance of the actuator on suppressing vibration. The result of experiments shows that the actuator has good performance and can efficiently suppress the vibrations of ship deck from the diesel engine.
