Abstract :
Chinese industrial design is confronted with two oppositions: one is totally westernize, copy the design mode of the West blindly, the other is pursuing ¿Sinicism¿ by putting bitty classic form into modern product. For some historical reasons, Chinese design didn´t grow on the foundation of itself, but introduce from the West totally. As the result of that, Chinese design is separated whit the culture and the need of people. In this text, we will discourse how to seek the soul of Chinese culture, and how to establish the industrial design mechanism of China.
