Abstract :
Techniques currently being developed for designing frequency-domain nonlinear adaptive filters are presented. These techniques make use of hierarchical memory structures that are trained to learn the appropriate transfer functions for a given signal and interference environment. Simulation results are discussed for an interference cancelling application and error rate curves are compared with those of linear interference cancellers.
