Abstract :
Automotive Design for automotive products enhance market competitiveness play an important role´ in the entire automotive product development process occupies an important position. For automobile body design, although it is now a virtual computer technology development is very fast, but it can give a true visual and tactile, only is a physical model, and its easy to modify sludge material, molding the advantages of sludge model car has been at the forefront Body Styling irreplaceable position. Article describes the history of development of sludge model, characteristics and its production process. Through the body design of traditional and modern body design flow flow comparison, analysis of the sludge model in the importance of body design, and with computer-aided design tools in Body Design, Clay model of the status quo and development trends.
