Abstract :
A novel compact H-shaped slot antenna for 2.4/5.8-GHz dual-band WLAN applications is presented. The total size of the proposed antenna is only 20×20×1.6 mm3. It is very compact and can be easily integrated with a wireless RF Front-end circuit. The radiating element of the proposed antenna is composed of two vertical and one horizontal rectangle slots. Simulations on the return loss, radiation pattern and gain indicate the suitability of the proposed antenna for the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n applications.
