  • Abstract
A shortest routing is crucial in emergent navigations including rescue and military applications. This paper proposes an automatic method of the shortest routing for emergent navigation. Firstly, un-navigable shallow areas are obtained by tracing safety contour for the ship navigation, and they are processed together with other obstacle areas. Then navigable paths are tested based on the predefined principles. Finally a shortest route is acquired automatically from these paths. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method has more advantages than traditional methods in time-consume, distance of the route and safety reliability.
