Abstract
This paper presents a method to predict steady state oscillations from transient waveforms in a circuit. As a tool, we use Haar wavelet. We predict if the periodic oscillation is sustained or not from the transient state. We apply the method to 1/3-subharmonic oscillation in a nonlinear RLC series resonance circuit and show the possibility of steady states prediction
