Abstract :
In practical industrial world, achieving the entire manufacturing task by coordination of multi workshop manufacturing process is generally applied. So Coordination of multi workshop manufacturing process plays important role and constructs indispensable constitutes in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) which bridges manufacturing management level with equipment control in workshop, and this issue is focused on in this paper. Based on deeply investigating multi workshop coordination process in MES and current technique of multi stage manufacturing, GPGP (generalized partial global planning) and TAEMS (task analysis, environment and simulation) are applied to solve the multi workshop manufacturing coordination for order driven discrete manufacturing execution system, and coordination mechanism of multi workshop manufacturing considering comprehensive functional model architecture of MES is constructed. And this proposed coordination mechanism was applied to a particular apparel manufacturing execution system.
