  • Abstract
    There are many hinge points in earth-machinery working mechanism. A reasonable gap between shaft and bushings is so important for the design of working mechanism design. This paper briefly analysed failure mechanism caused by irrationality selection on fitting gap between hinge shaft and bushings of earth-machinery, such as hydraulic excavator working equipment. A new calculate theory and method on fitting gap between hinge shaft and bushing was put forward. And the calculate method is proved by analyzing a certain excavator working equipment. The result shows that the method of determining the fitting gap between hinge shaft and bushing is useful.
