Abstract
LMS adaptive filtering in the spectrum domain is addressed and applied to noise cancelling. The spectrum domain noise cancellor minimizes the noise power at each spectral bin of the primary input. It requires, however, the power spectra of the input data to be estimated prior to cancelling. The paper discusses the function of the proposed cancellor and describes its general structure.
