Abstract
As an independent visual language, colour is an important modelling elements and narrative means in the animation. As an independent aesthetic object, colour has a rich aesthetic symbolic meaning in Japanese aesthetics. The significant ethnic characteristics of Japanese Anime are unique in the world. The Anime designers are adept in combining deep images of traditional colour system and animation design factors perfectly, which is one of important factors that a strong ethnic style of the works forms. By studying deeply colours of the Japanese Anime, this passage analyses that aesthetic consciousness of traditional colours such as white, green, red and black and traditional colour aesthetic ideas influence Japanese Anime colour processing in order to discuss causes of colour nationality tendency.
