Abstract
A multi-layered meander line polarizer for Ku band was analysed using the transmission matrix concept and empirical formulas for E and H mode susceptances. The influence of dielectric losses of substrates as well as glue layers have been studied numerically for a 4-section polarizer. The results of experimental verification of the design procedure are also presented with some conclusions concerning the influence of tolerances in meander line fabrication
