Abstract :
In this paper we investigate the possibility of applying a joint source-channel coding scheme in ST turbo TC decoder. Source is modeled as two state hidden Markov source with four symbols. This paper presents a performance of the proposed decoding scheme. Comparison of the approach with perfectly known Markov source parameters, with the approach with parameter estimation is also presented.
