Abstract :
The index system was constituted in this paper using meteorological data, vegetation data, soil data and socio-economic statistics, and then eco-environment vulnerability was evaluated. Based on the powerful spatial analysis function of GIS, using 100m×100m real area as basic unit, the eco-environment vulnerability of Baishan Region was evaluated with the Analytical Hierarchy Process and Weighted Comprehensive Analysis. According to the results of the evaluation, we can see that the eco-environmental vulnerability of a great part of this region belongs to the low or moderate grade, and the eco-environmental vulnerability belongs to the severe or even the extremely grade in the zone that has a high population density and where the upland is the main land-use type.
