Abstract
The paper deals with the introduction of the Plug-in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (PHEV) in the urban areas that leads to a power and energy evaluation of the electric network. In fact in order to improve the diffusion of the hybrid-electric vehicles it is necessary to develop an adequate recharge infrastructure, that requires an electric distribution system able to deliver the requested energy and power. This study presents a model for the evaluation of the different recharge station scenarios and of the algorithm to be applied for the optimal energy assignment strategy.
