  • Abstract
    The aim of the work was to support modern way of manipulation with both experimental data such as time-series and results of their processing. The Multipurpose Software Complex (MSC-BBL) representing and controlling information in geophysical and hydrological databases: (Version 1.0-Benthic Boundary Layer application) have been designed to provide this demands. Object-oriented technology have been used for it. The complex was designed for Microsoft Windows operating system. It supports different formats of data storage, including graphic databases. The software provides easy and powerful ways of selecting the necessary set of data from the databases, creating new user´s databases, converting database from one format to another one, load and unload any part of experimental data or results of their processing. The data are both geophysical and hydrological experimental time-series. The current version 1.0 of the software was designed to work with the data reached during experimental investigation of the benthic boundary layer in different parts of the World Ocean
