Abstract
Nowadays, the requirement and market of children product is accordingly enlarging in pursuit of humanized design. How to design the product which answers for the physical and mental development of children is becoming more and more important. This paper analyzes and sums up the characteristics of eating behavior of children during early childhood as well as their cognitive characteristics by a series of methods such as in situ observation, image acquisition, detailed interviews and questionnaire survey in the point of view of developmental psychology, moreover, this paper classifies the children´s dining chair and manages comparative analysis and finally brings forward the design principle of children´s dining chair.
