Abstract
Designing new IP routing architectures that are more amendable to optimization is a promising avenue for future research. With the proliferation of the Internet, popular Web services often suffer congestion and bottlenecks due to large demands made on their services. Such a scenario may cause unmanageable levels of traffic flow, resulting in many requests being lost. In the network approach, the network components including BGP routers and switches are equipped with code for identifying specific application types and for forwarding the requests based on predefined policies. In the following section we will see an approach how DSDN and BGP router can be useful for controlling the traffic in distributing the contents over the Internet.
