Abstract :
It happened an explosion to a rig of United States in Mexico Gulf on April 20, 2010. The oil leak spreading rapidly has caused a serious pollution to Mexico Gulf, which brings about enormous environmental and economic losses. This paper makes a spectral analysis of the region of oil spill to reach the optimal composite band of false color based on MODIS data. What´s more, we have achieved the algorithm of fuzzy clustering method (FCM) combined with the texture analysis by VC++ programming, resulting in the most obvious image of the segmentation of oil spill area.
