Abstract :
In this paper, the HDOP and VDOP of the existing and establishment satellite positioning systems are analyzed, and a better constellation configuration is determined. Then, the altitudes of satellite effects on the positioning accuracy are analyzed to search a better constellation. Thirdly, based on the analysis mentioned above and the Beidou II satellites launched, a appropriate constellation for Beidou II is proposed.
