Abstract
Stimulated Raman scattering with resonant two-colour pumping can produce coherent bandwidths ranging from the IR to the UV. By balancing the dispersion of the Raman-active gas with that of a hollow dielectric waveguide, the higher-frequency anti- Stokes orders are enhanced and are shown to exhibit novel behaviours.
