Abstract :
Two-photon laser scanning microscopy (TPLSM) has high resolution and high contrast in imaging modality, with many advantages such as non-invasive, no-toxicity, and nophotobleaching and so on. We demonstrated the influence of excitation wavelength and excitation power on the SHG and TPEF signals of human rectal mucosa, and the spectral information of certain intrinsic components in mucosa was obtained and discussed. In summary, our results demonstrate that TPLSM is a feasible tool for microscopic analysis of intestinal mucosa morphometry in vivo.
