Abstract :
The construction of a correlation CW radar for the investigation of layered dielectric structures is presented. The means to decrease device dimensions and their impact on system performance is discussed. Compact design has been achieved through the application of SMD components and RF IC with a high degree of integration. Several device blocks are described in detail
