Abstract
Based on the characteristics of mining landscape ecology, a mining landscape ecology evaluation system which integrates with remote sensing and PCA is established in this paper. This system provide the function of screening the dominate factor for evaluating mining landscape ecology, and the ecology quality of each sub-area can be evaluated and ranked. Empirical study result shows that the evaluation results are in accord with related landscape ecology theories and site situation. Therefore, this system can be used as a method and a tool for mining rapid ecology evaluation, which can provided a convenience way for Carbon assessment change that induced by mineral resources exploitation.
