Abstract :
We demonstrate the generation of few-cycle pulses with 45 nJ pulse energy from a noncollinear optical parametric amplifier (NOPA) with a repetition rate of 1 MHz based on a diode-pumped Yb:KYW laser oscillator with cavity-dumping.
