Abstract
In last years, behavioral models of power converters are becoming an interesting tool for the system level analysis of power electronics based systems, when these ones are composed of converters whose internal data are unknown. In this paper, a new "grey box" behavioral modeling and identification procedure for voltage mode controlled buck derived converters is proposed. The model is composed of a single circuit, and its identification is fully carried out by analyzing the transient response of the converter when load steps are applied. Both simulation results and experimental results validate the procedure.
