  • Abstract
    We experimentally demonstrate chirped solitary pulses from an entirely normal dispersion mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser. Using frequency-resolved optical gating, we study the pulse amplitude and phase before and after the mode-locker and after pulse compression.
