Abstract
This paper presents a new method for designing robust multivariable PID controllers using LQR high gain feedback. The paper relates output PID feedback to PI state feedback to derive conditions for stable infinite zeros at high gain. The finite zeros of the PID system are also characterized. The high gain design is obtained by choosing stable finite zeros
