Abstract
With the rapid construction of the smart grid on the world, the power line communications (PLC) systems is been obtaining the increasing interesting because of its easy configurations and the potential communications capacity. However, the PLC channels are influenced deeply by the noise. The paper analyzed the characteristics of the noise in PLC channels and proposed the method to model it.
