Abstract :
BDLEX is a data-base project for French as it is written and spoken. This project is part of a C.N.R.S (National Center for Scientific Research, France) assignment to the spoken Communication G.R.E.C.O. (COncerted REsearch Group) assignment. An initial, simplified version, BDLEX-0, is right now in operation and a second version, BDLEX-1, is being set up. BDLEX-1 takes into account phonological and morphophonological specifications defined by the G.R.E.C.O work group. The purpose of this paper is to describe the BDLEX-0 version and discuss its development prospects.
