Abstract
It is always a challenge to prepare lectures, student projects and assignments for courses on active research topics. However, in order to make a study program more attractive to the students and at the same time to support research, offering such courses is an attractive undertaking. Mobile databases and information systems form a research area that is insufficiently covered in courses at most universities. In this paper we present our approach for teaching mobile databases and information systems in an MSc computer science program.
