  • Abstract
    A method is presented for the design of linear phase FIR quadrature mirror filters. The method is based on a polyphase decomposition of the transfer function and requires the resolution of a linear program. The advantages of this approach are the exact control of the cutoff frequency and of the stopband characteristic.
