Abstract :
A novel space vector modulation is applied to four-leg inverter. The new algorithm uses abc coordinates avoiding the alphabetagamma transformation, which makes the selection of the switching vectors and duty cycles easier, drastically reducing the complexity of modulation algorithm. The given reference voltages are calculated timely by the load currents and bus voltage, so the inverter could works on variable load conditions. The new algorithm and the method to get the reference voltage are described in detail. The inverter output is stabilized by voltage regulate loop. The novel inverter has a high utilization of the DC link voltage, and could deal with balanced and unbalanced three-phase loads. The simulation results verify the feasibility of the proposed inverter scheme
