Abstract
We develop novel instantaneous-locking (≪1 ns) optical burst-mode receiver and wide- colored 80-Gbps (8λ x 10-Gbps) packet transmitter. Truly asynchronous optical packet-stream with 80-Gbps payload-data and arbitrary intervals is generated and received with low packet-loss- rate (≪10-5).
